General conditions of rent
1- Booking
The access to the Villa-Riad is allowed only to people with a written confirmation of their booking. For bookings made 1 month before the arrival day, the whole price of the rent will be due at the time of confirmation of the booking. VILLA MARRAKESH is able to cancel any booking if any deposit or if the integral payment is not received. Payments must be established to VILLA MARRAKESH or another physical or moral person determined by VILLA MARRAKESH.
2- Last deposit
The last deposit must be made 3 weeks prior to departure. If not made, it causes the immediate cancellation of the booking.
3- Cancellation by the client
The cancellation by the client for any reason must be submitted to variable allowances depending on the date you will decide to cancel the booking of the Villa of VILLA MARRAKESH:
More than 60 days prior to departure : 10% of the rent price.
Between 60 and 45 days : 25% of the rent price.
From 45 to 30 days: 50% of the rent price.
Less than 30 days: 100% of the rent price.
4- Cancellation by VILLA-MARRAKESH.com prior to the arrival day
Any cancellation or modification for any confirmed and paid reservation will be notified to the client and will be totally paid back. As far as possible, VILLA MARRAKESH will propose to the client another solution of the same category or higher without any price change.
5- Arrival to and departure from the villa
The driver will welcome the client at the airport. The Villa will be available at 3.00PM, and should be left at 11.00AM. In case you need to leave later, the luggage can stay in the villa’s hallway under your responsibility.
6- Rental conditions:
The villa must be taken care of according to basic education rules. Each client must preserve the quietness of the domain and make every effort not to disturb the other people in the domain. A correct behavior and dress code are demanded in order to respect Moroccan habits. Animals are forbidden. The Villa-Riad is only rented for touristic journeys. A guarantee of 2.000 euros will be demanded upon arrival should there be any damage done to the Villa-Riad. The client must report, as soon as possible any problem or accident in the Villa or domain. The client will not be able to refuse the visit of any official of VILLA MARRAKESH. An inventory will be made upon arrival and at the departure of the clients. At the departure of the villa, the guarantee will be returned to the client, if no damage was made.
7- Liabilities
VILLA MARRAKESH, the domain and the staff do not have any responsibility about accidents and their direct or indirect consequences for the persons who are staying in the villas. VILLA MARRAKESH draws the client’s attention upon the fact that swimming pools, private and commune, game areas and tennis grounds are not being supervised. Their use is made only under your responsibility. VILLA MARRAKESH recommends the best possible care about the use of swimming pools for the children. The clients will not allow children to play alone in swimming pools and declare assuming the full responsibility of their children. VILLA MARRAKESH and the domain will not be held responsible for any national gas or power shortage or rupture. Personal goods are under the client’s responsibility. Strong-holds are available for any important goods.
8- Cars
A car can be made available under payment of a 2000-euro guarantee. An inventory and a contract will be established. The driver(s) will need to dispose of a valid driver’s license, older than 10 years, and will comply to Moroccan rules. The use of the car is limited to 100 km per day and on concrete roads only. Any additional km will be charged at the price of 0.5 euro per km. The use in the desert or for rally is strictly forbidden. The client will have to return the car in the same state as initially taken and will be held responsible for any damage. The amount of the potential repairs will be deduced from the guarantee. If the damage is more important that the guarantee, the client will be asked a check before their departure. The driver(s) must have a civil guarantee for any damage on persons, goods and car. VILLA MARRAKESH declines any responsibility concerning technical problems and will do everything to provide the client with another car. Should any accident be caused by the driver, VILLA MARRAKESH will not have to provide another car.
9- Access to residence infrastructures
The client has to see the rules and the use of the different infrastructures of the domain with the managers.
10- External visitors
The villas are totally guarded night and day. Only clients and owners have a permanent access. As a consequence, clients have to report to the guardian about any external visitor at least the day before the visit. The complete identity will be asked and may be checked. The manager and the guardian may refuse the entry, without justification, even if acceptation had previously been given. The present contract and the interior rules are the same for external visitors. Arrivals of external visitors are allowed until 10.00PM. The access is forbidden for security reasons.
11- Cancellations
The signature of this present contract implies that all the occupants of the Villa-Riad accept the general rules of the domain. The non-respect of these general rules will result in an instant cancellation without any indemnity. Clients, occupants and external visitors will have to leave the Villa-Riad within 2 hours.
12- Jurisdiction attribution
In case of contestation concerning the execution of the presents, the exclusive jurisdiction attribution is given to the Moroccan Courts (Morocco).
